FAQ

What inspired you to teach yoga?

My love for yoga and the desire to learn more.

Who are your most influential teachers?

Kathleen Hunt (in Seattle), Gary Kraftsow, Sarah Powers, Scott Blossom and Dr. Robert Svoboda

How would you describe your classes?

My classes are unique and often filled with new variations of more traditional Hatha yoga postures to accommodate all levels of students. Classes have an emphasis on joint mobilization, core strength, balance, flexibility and breath awareness.

Why do you feel retreats are transformational?

I think retreats feel transformational because they gently remove us from our familiar routines and, at times, our comfort zones. In doing so, they open us to new ways of living and seeing—through different cultures, shared meals, meaningful conversations, and time spent together. Slowing down in this way creates space to listen more closely to ourselves, remember parts of who we are, and reconnect with what truly matters. In that remembering, transformation naturally unfolds.
