With over 12+ years of traveling the world and teaching yoga to a variety of humans, Lacey is thrilled to be back to leading retreats again. Her classes are alive with contagious energy, vibrant positivity and a fair amount of "dad jokes". Being trained in vinyasa, hot power fusion, sculpt, SUP yoga, kids yoga, spin and personal training, her varietal background provides classes that support all bodies and abilities. Lacey is also one of the founders of The Yoga Post in Petaluma, and you will frequently find her and her family emerging themselves in the great outdoors. When she's not on her yoga mat, you can find her camping and hiking with her husband, twin sons, daughter and 2 pups.

FAQ

What inspired you to teach yoga?

The moment I stepped on my mat, I knew it was something I needed to know more of. I hope to continue to spread abundant joy to others through my teaching.

Who are your most influential teachers?

I take a little bit of all those who I have taken class from. I appreciate all practices and teaching styles, especially as I grow older.

How would you describe your classes?

My classes are intelligently sequenced to support your growth as a student. We build in our breath and asana to work toward a common goal. My classes are also powerful, fun, engaging and accessible to all....not to mention, a rocking playlist!

Why do you feel retreats are transformational?

Allowing yourself to step onto your mat twice a day without the distraction of the real world is transformative for your practice and your soul. It allows you to connect back to your body and breath and learn more about your asana practice.

What is your favorite pose to teach?

I love teaching arm balances to my students, as they see that they are do-able at any stage in your practice.

What is your favorite pose to practice?

Savasana....there is nothing like it!

Where are you favorite places to travel?

I have loved leading retreats throughout Mexico and Costa Rica, and enjoy anywhere with a body of water!
