FAQ

What inspired you to teach yoga?

When I was in my early 20s I wrote in my journal that I wanted to teach yoga and offer healing workshops around the world. I had never even taken a yoga class. As much as I chose to teach yoga, I believe it chose me. The practice has been a physical and spiritual journey to greater embodiment, aliveness, and freedom on and off the mat. My vision is to share this path with others and support them in connecting more deeply within and with the world around. When we find more space and openness in our bodies and hearts, we simultaneously open to the joy, flow, and magic of life in unexpected ways!

Who are your most influential teachers?

Over the years I have studied with various teachers from different backgrounds, including Vinyasa flow, Iyengar, and the Yin Yoga traditions. The YogaWorks method has been a strong influence as well. My style has also been inspired by several teachers in the fields of psychology, Tantra, meditation, and Intuition Medicine®.

This retreat provided an opportunity to connect with people from all over. I am new to California after moving here from New York last year. I am so very grateful that I made new friends from my local area that I can see over again. I also met people from very near where I was from, and we made plans to get together in August when I return to New York for vacation. The roommate who was assigned to me couldn't have been a better match! We became fast friends and did everything together during free time. She happens to live only a couple of miles from me, and we have already made plans to get together. In all, this retreat proved to be transformational for me. My intention was to make CONNECTIONS, which I did on all levels. Deepening my practice, making new friends, and getting closer to nature. I feel grateful and blessed.
