Power & Grace - Yoga in Maui - Only 1 Spot Left!

Join Hillary Skibell this June for her 5th annual summer yoga and transformation retreat on the beautiful North Shore of Maui. Strengthen your body, unwind into your radiance, and soak in the aloha spirit and the healing powers of the island. This week will be an opportunity to nourish your body, reignite your passions, and infuse your life with greater vitality, joy, and connection.

The exquisitely designed Lumeria offers an oasis of healing and tranquility. It’s the perfect haven for rejuvenating, resting, and coming home after a day of ocean play and, island adventure. Evenings are a time to build community as we share delicious family style meals often followed by stories around the fire. Daily sessions will blend inspiring vinyasa flow practices, slower meditative sequences, and time to refine alignment and fine-tune your personal practice.  Music, philosophy, intuitive exploration, and time for personal reflection will be woven into the sessions as a way to uncover what is possible on the mat and in your life beyond. Hillary will draw on her transformational coaching process as well as Hawaiian themes and optional excursions to deepen the teachings as you come home to your radiant nature and remember your  Power & Grace.

FAQ

What airport do I fly into?

Flying from the US: Book your flights into and out of Kahului, Maui Airport (airport code: OGG)

Are airport transfers included in the price of my trip?

No, airport transfers are not included in the price of your trip. Renting a car for the duration of your stay is highly recommended as there is much to explore on the island during your free time. Also having a car makes getting to the nearest beach just 10 minutes away easy and enjoyable.

If you do not plan on renting a car, the best way to get to Lumeria is by taxi. The ride will be about 20 minutes and the cost is $30-40. You will pay your driver directly.

What are the accommodations like?

All rooms have rain showerhead and river-rock shower floors, Aveda bathroom products, artwork by Maui artists, small refrigerators, in room safes and iPod docking stations.

What if I am traveling alone?

If you prefer to share your room, we will do our best to match you with another traveler of the same gender. If we are not able to find you a roommate, a single supplement will apply.

If you prefer to have your own room, the cost of a single supplement is $700 for the week.

Are all my meals included?

Breakfast and dinner are included in the price of your trip.

Are gratuities included?

No, gratuities are not included. We recommend approx. $5-8 per person per day for the housekeeping and kitchen staff.

Do I need travel insurance?

All payments to International Yoga are non-refundable & non-transferable. The purchase of travel insurance is strongly recommended to ensure you are covered should any unexpected event arise. A personal, political, environmental or weather-related incident or pre-existing medical condition may prevent or interrupt your travels.  These events are rare but do occur and underscore the importance of being covered by travel insurance.  Should you elect to not purchase travel insurance, you will be assuming 100% of any costs incurred for trip cancellation or trip interruption. TravelEx  and World Nomads are two reputable organizations. There is a broad spectrum of policies and options so make sure you are clear on what exactly is covered.

What is the cuisine like?

Chef Ben Diamond harvests the edible landscape for his farm-to-table dinner menus (which change daily) using seasonal ingredients, harvested from the bounty of Lumeria's organic gardens and other local farms. Each night, sample new dishes prepared from mahi-mahi, Pacific steelhead trout, and other local fish and seasonal produce. In the morning, a complimentary breakfast of organic fruits, yogurt, and granola starts the day.

How close is the nearest beach?

A favorite among locals, Baldwin Beach is the closest and most accessible beach at approximately 4.2 miles from Lumeria Maui (a 10 minute drive).

What is the cancellation policy for this trip?

All retreats include a $500 non-refundable / non-transferable deposit, which is required to hold your spot on the trip. If you cancel prior to April 8, 2018 we will refund your payment minus the non-refundable deposit. All payments are non-refundable & non-transferable after April 8, 2018. International Yoga must strictly adhere to its cancellation policy to offset costs incurred prior to the commencement of retreat. Click here to view the Terms and Conditions to which you agree upon registration.
