What is the cancellation policy for this trip?
A $1000 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot on the trip. The final balance payment is due by July 18, 20244. If you cancel before the final balance deadline we will refund any payments you have made, minus the non-refundable deposit. If you do not complete the payment on your own by that date, the card on file will be automatically charged your remaining balance. If you register for the trip after July 18, 2024. the full amount is due at sign-up. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable after July 18, 2024. International Yoga must strictly adhere to its cancellation policy to offset costs incurred before the commencement of the retreat. Do I need Travel Insurance?
As all payments to International Yoga are non-refundable, the purchase of travel insurance is strongly recommended to ensure you are covered should any unexpected event arise. A personal, political, environmental, health or weather-related incident or pre-existing medical condition may prevent or interrupt your travels. Should you elect to not purchase travel insurance, note that you will be assuming 100% of any costs incurred for trip cancellation or trip interruption.
There are a broad variety of policies and providers for you to choose from. Be sure to understand the fine print of the policy you select to ensure you know exactly what is and isn't covered, especially if you are concerned you may need to cancel for COVID-19 / pandemic-related reasons which most carriers would cover only under a "Cancel for Any Reason" tier of coverage. IMPORTANT: in order to guarantee maximum coverage, most travel insurance providers require that you obtain a policy within 7-10 days of placing your initial deposit. International Yoga cannot advise on specific policies or providers.
