This experience leans more toward an immersive travel adventure, with less downtime than a traditional yoga retreat. While we will enjoy at least one yoga practice each day—some days offering two and a bit more leisure—our journey includes vibrant movement across Morocco. We’ll travel from the lively streets of Marrakech, to the stillness of the Agafay Desert, and up into the majestic Atlas Mountains, staying in three distinct accommodations along the way. Cultural excursions, artisan visits, and curated moments of connection fill the itinerary, so come ready to explore, engage, and be inspired by this dynamic landscape. You will book your international ticket into and out of Marrakesh (airport code: RAK).
There are no group airfares, as we will have people joining us from all over the US, with some arriving early, some arriving late, some using miles, etc. We are happy to provide guidance and review any itineraries you find. American citizen visitors to Morocco do not need a visa if they are traveling as a tourist with a valid U.S. passport. You will be issued a visa upon arrival, which is valid for up to 90 days.
We get hundreds of travelers each year who go on retreats alone. If for some reason, we are not able to match you with a roommate, a single supplement will apply.
If you prefer to have your own private room, a single supplement will apply.

This journey includes stays at three distinctive boutique properties across Morocco—from the vibrant heart of Marrakech to the stillness of the Agafay Desert and the breathtaking Atlas Mountains. Yes, all levels are welcome. You will find that wherever you are in your practice you will get just what you need out of the yoga classes on this retreat. International Yoga works only with experienced and extremely qualified teachers, which ensures that everyone's yoga needs will be met.
At International Yoga, we strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance to protect yourself and your investment. Unexpected events—such as personal emergencies, political or environmental factors, health issues, or weather-related disruptions—can arise and may prevent or interrupt your travel plans. Note that because we must strictly adhere to our cancellation policy, you will be responsible for 100% of any costs associated with the cancellation or interruption of your retreat should you choose not to purchase travel insurance.
While we do not provide recommendations for specific policies, we suggest exploring options through the reputable travel insurance aggregator, InsureMyTrip. They can help you find a provider and policy that best suits your needs. For maximum coverage, we advise purchasing travel insurance within 7–10 days of placing your initial deposit.
A $1,000 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required to reserve your space on the retreat, with the final balance due by May 25, 2027. If you cancel before the final balance deadline, we will refund all payments received, less the non-refundable deposit. Any outstanding balance will be automatically charged to the payment method on file on the due date, unless otherwise arranged with International Yoga. Registrations received after the final balance deadline require payment in full at the time of registration. As outlined in our Terms & Conditions, all final balance payments are non-refundable and non-transferable after the final balance deadline. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
