We strongly recommend placing a deposit to secure your space on this trip as soon as possible. Given the complexity of this journey, there are multiple reservations which require significant advanced booking and financial commitments. These are made on your behalf (space permitting) as soon as you place your deposit. These types of reservations include but are not limited to: multiple hotel bookings, train tickets, bus transportation, entry permits to Huyana Picchu (extremely limited & government regulated) and more. We will do everything we can to confirm all necessary reservations and permits however, we can not guarantee these arrangements without advanced booking. Our retreat center is a natural and transformative setting, perfect for diving deep into the practice of yoga. Body, mind, and soul can be nourished and fed in the center's outdoor and indoor yoga spaces. These simple yet lovely accommodations will be home in the sacred valley as you explore both your yoga practice as well as the nearby ancient ruins. 

During our time in Aguas Calientes and Cusco, we will stay at hotels selected carefully for their location and level of service. More details will be provided upon registration.

We get hundreds of travelers each year who go on retreat alone. If you are traveling without a friend or partner, but prefer to share your room, we will do our best to match you with another traveler of the same gender. If for some reason, we are not able to match you with a roommate, a single supplement will apply.

If you prefer to have your own private room, a single supplement will apply.

Attendance varies from trip to trip, but 15-25 attendees is a general average.

All meals are included during the first 6 days of the program in the Sacred Valley at our retreat center. Lunches and dinners are not included during our days in Aguas Calientes and Cusco.

Yes, private airport transfers are included in the price of your trip. We recommend arriving on the morning of March 14th. Note if you arrive early and decide to stay at an alternate location other than our group hotel, you will be responsible for coordinating and paying for your own transportation directly with the hotel where you will be staying.

You will book your international flights into and out of Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport (Code: CUZ) to arrive on March 14, 2022, and depart on March 23, 2022.

No, there are no group airfares, as we will have people joining us from all over the US, with some arriving early, some arriving late, some using miles, etc. We are happy to provide guidance, resorces for booking and review any itineraries you are considering. Please contact us before purchasing flights, and as always, travel insurance is strongly recommended.

American citizen visitors to Peru do not need a visa if they are traveling as a tourist with a valid U.S. passport. You will be issued a tourist card upon entry, which is valid for up to 90 days.

There are no required vaccinations for travel to Peru. However, there are some recommended (suggested) vaccinations given by the CDC. To see the complete list of what is recommended, please visit the CDC Website and consult with your primary care physician to make a decision on what is best for you.  

All retreats include a $500 non-refundable deposit, which is required to hold your spot on the trip. If you cancel prior to the final balance due date we will refund your payment minus the non-refundable deposit. All payments are non-refundable after the final balance due date. Travel Insurance which covers 'Cancel For Any Reason, which must be purchased in a timely manner after registering, is strongly recommended. 

Yes, there is additional flexibility in the time of Covid-19 as follows:  Your deposit can be transferred to another trip or kept on file to be applied at a later date anytime before the final balance is collected. We will be collecting final balances later to allow more time for you to make a final decision about participation. If the retreat is prevented from running due to government travel restrictions to our destination country we will postpone the retreat and transfer your reservation and all payments towards the new date.

International Yoga strictly adheres to the cancellation policy outlined in our Terms & Conditions and does not make exceptions under any circumstances. For this reason we strongly recommended the purchase of travel insurance. In order to guarantee maximum coverage, most travel insurance providers require that you obtain a policy within 7-10 days of placing your initial deposit. There are a broad variety of policies and providers for you to choose from. Be sure to understand the fine print of the policy you select to ensure you know exactly what is and isn't covered, especially if you are concerned you may need to cancel for COVID-19 / pandemic-related reasons (which most carriers would cover only under a "Cancel for Any Reason" tier of coverage). Although International Yoga cannot advise on specific policies or providers, you may find this guide helpful.
