Vinyasa
To take care of my body...the only vehicle I was given to experience this life.
This retreat is intentionally designed to be a blend of both. Yoga serves as an anchor for the experience, helping you stay grounded and present throughout the journey. At the same time, Scotland is an extraordinary destination that invites exploration. You'll spend your days discovering dramatic lochs, rolling countryside, historic villages and castles, scenic hiking trails, and Scottish culture and traditions. Think of it as an adventure-filled journey through Scotland, supported by yoga.
Jenny's classes are mindful, breath-based vinyasa flows with sneaky moments of strength snuck in.
Our accommodations blend historic Scottish charm with modern luxury. You'll stay in beautifully appointed rooms within the restored 17th-century castle and estate, surrounded by woodland, landscaped grounds, and the River Calder. Elegant common spaces, thoughtful amenities, and the atmosphere of a private Scottish country estate make this special hotel a destination in itself.
You will book your international ticket into and out of Edinburgh Airport (EDI).
Yes, one group transfer will be provided on the first and last day of the retreat. Once you have provided us with your flight information, we will organize this airport transfer for you.
The trip price includes all breakfasts, three dinners, and three lunches. Please budget separately for any additional meals.
July is a beautiful time to visit Scotland, with long daylight hours and lush green landscapes. Temperatures typically range from 50–65°F (10–18°C), with a mix of sunshine, clouds, wind, and occasional rain. We recommend dressing in layers and bringing waterproof outerwear, as conditions can change throughout the day.
While we will have use of our own yoga space, yoga mats and props will not be available. Please bring your yoga mat and any special props you require for your yoga practice.
Attendance varies from trip to trip, but 15-25 attendees is a general average.
At International Yoga, we strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance to protect yourself and your investment. Unexpected events—such as personal emergencies, political or environmental factors, health issues, or weather-related disruptions—can arise and may prevent or interrupt your travel plans. Note that because we must strictly adhere to our cancellation policy, you will be responsible for 100% of any costs associated with the cancellation or interruption of your retreat should you choose not to purchase travel insurance.
While we do not provide recommendations for specific policies, we suggest exploring options through the reputable travel insurance aggregator, InsureMyTrip. They can help you find a provider and policy that best suits your needs. For maximum coverage, we advise purchasing travel insurance within 7–10 days of placing your initial deposit.
A $1000 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required to reserve your space on the retreat, with the final balance due by March 10, 2027. If you cancel before the final balance deadline, we will refund all payments received, less the non-refundable deposit. Any outstanding balance will be automatically charged to the payment method on file on the due date, unless otherwise arranged with International Yoga. Registrations received after the final balance deadline require payment in full at the time of registration. As outlined in our Terms & Conditions, all final balance payments are non-refundable and non-transferable after the final balance deadline. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
If you wish to cancel your participation in this program, you must advise International Yoga in writing to: [email protected].
