Based in Marin County and teaching in the San Francisco Bay Area, Michele Klink is an experienced Senior Yoga Teacher E-RYT 500+. Michele’s classes incorporate vinyasa flow linked with breath, precise alignment, longer holds with an added emphasis on philosophy, meditation and positive psychology.

Michele has over 20 years of continuing education (CE) with Iyengar-influenced Yoga and Therapeutic-oriented methods. She has completed 300+ hours of Functional Movement study with Jill Miller and is a Yoga Tune Up ® Certified Instructor. This method combines Yoga, Therapy Balls for massage and Corrective Exercise Movement. She is also trained in Roll Model Method (myofascial massage ball techniques). She continues to study the latest in fascia and neuroscience research for pain management and healing. Michele is an active member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT).  

Michele has completed over 500+ Hours with YogaWorks and is a Certified YogaWorks Teacher, Teacher Trainer and Professional Mentor. She is a Teachers teacher. She also has long term study in Yoga Philosophy, which includes Classical and Tantric Yoga philosophies, with an appreciation toward the subtle body anatomy for deeper dimensions of Yoga.

She has been teaching over 10 classes/week for 20 years in Marin County. Classes include beginner to advanced level as well as a specialty in therapeutic-oriented classes and private sessions. She has extensive experience leading groups locally and internationally. Prior to Yoga, Michele had a career in Holistic Health Nutrition. She loves nature, hiking, wildlife and cultural experiences.

How would you describe your classes?

Why do you feel retreats are transformational?

Retreats allow you to step away from habits and routine in order to gain new perspectives. To expand life experiences. To meet new people and make lasting friendships.

What is your favorite pose to teach?

All poses but I like teaching Inversions, especially Handstand!

What is your favorite pose to practice?

Hanumanasana (splits) and Bird of Paradise (standing balance)

Where are your favorite places to travel?

Inward travel to the heart! Outward travel? Most everywhere.
