Admired by poets from Homer to Virgil and prized by ancient cultures over the millennia, Sicily is a place like no other. Perfected situated in the Mediterranean, Sicily has seduced travelers for centuries with its dazzling diversity of landscapes, cultural treasures and exceptional cuisine. Our home for the week is a luxurious private villa in the gently rolling hills between the sea and the renowned baroque town of Noto. This luxurious property sits on an organic farm with hundred-year-old olive, almond, citrus trees and vineyards, all cultivated according to biodynamic methods. Originally a winepress dating the 18th century, this elegant property was recently renovated with green technologies and is largely environmentally self-sufficient. It offers incredible cuisine by an award-winning Michelin chef and a swimming pool supplied with fresh water filtered by a special mixture of mineral salts renowned since antiquity for its healing properties. In addition to twice-daily yoga classes with Ann we will explore the nearby highlights of Modica, Ragusa, Syracusa, and more.

You will book your international ticket into and out of Catania International Airport (CTA) to arrive midday on October 8th and depart in the late morning or early afternoon of October 15th.
Our group accommodations are located approximately 1 hour and 15 mins from the airport.
We will organize one group transfer from the airport on Day 1 around midday. Once we have gathered everyone’s flight information we will confirm the exact timing of this pick up. For those who plan to arrive before or after the group transfer and require a private transfer, we will advise on the cost of this as we get closer to the departure date.
A private chef will be onsite to prepare our meals for the week. All breakfasts, as well as 2 dinners are included. The remaining dinners and lunches will be at your leisure as we want you to have the chance to explore local restaurants and taste all that Sicily has to offer!
We will have an active program visiting some of Sicily’s most important highlights. We will also have some free time so if you know you would like to do further exploration, or will be traveling in Sicily before or after our retreat, you might consider renting your own car at the airport upon arrival in Catania. You also have the option of hiring drivers from our hotel to take you on private tours and excursions.
October is a great time of year to be in Sicily. Temperatures are comfortable with afternoon highs at around 70°F. Typically, it is still warm enough for swimming with the sea temperature around 73°F. That being said, there may be occasional rain showers or wind so we do recommend brining layers!
Yes, there is a beautiful mineral salt pool that you will have full access to.
This hotel does not have a dedicated yoga studio so you will need to bring your yoga mat and any other props you require for your practice. Yoga will take place in several lovely places throughout the property such as a covered patio next to the pool and an indoor communal space.
