Summer Solstice in Maui

Join Hillary for a week of yoga and meditation at this exquisitely designed oasis of tranquility on the north shore of Maui. Soak in the Aloha spirit and celebrate the longest day of the year, allowing the magic of the island and the summer solstice to connect you more deeply to your own inner radiance and the pulse of life itself. Expand your physical and spiritual practice with daily yoga sessions that will blend an inspiring vinyasa flow with slower meditative sequences. Philosophy, poetry and story will be woven into the teachings as a way to uncover what is possible on the mat and in our life beyond. This week will be sure to nourish your body, uplift your heart and open you to a greater sense of harmony and well being!

FAQ

What airport do I fly into?

Flying from the US: Book your flights into and out of Kahului, Maui Airport (airport code: OGG)

Are airport transfers included in the price of my trip?

No, airport transfers are not included in the price of your trip. Renting a car for the duration of your stay is highly recommended as there is much to explore on the island during your free time. Also having a car makes getting to the nearest beach just 10 minutes away easy and enjoyable.

If you do not plan on renting a car, the best way to get to Lumeria is by taxi. The ride will be about 20 minutes and the cost is $30-40. You will pay your driver directly.

What are the accommodations like?

All rooms have rain showerhead and river-rock shower floors, Aveda bathroom products, artwork by Maui artists, small refrigerators, in room safes and iPod docking stations.

What if I am traveling alone?

If you prefer to share your room, we will do our best to match you with another traveler of the same gender. If we are not able to find you a roommate, a single supplement will apply.

If you prefer to have your own room, the cost of a single supplement is $700 for the week.

Are all my meals included?

Breakfast and dinner are included in the price of your trip. Lunch is not included but is available for purchase at the restaurant.

Are gratuities included?

No, gratuities are not included. We recommend approx. $5-8 per person per day for the housekeeping and kitchen staff.

What is the cuisine like?

Chef Ben Diamond harvests the edible landscape for his farm-to-table dinner menus (which change daily) using seasonal ingredients, harvested from the bounty of Lumeria's organic gardens and other local farms. Each night, sample new dishes prepared from mahi-mahi, Pacific steelhead trout, and other local fish and seasonal produce. In the morning, a complimentary breakfast of organic fruits, yogurt, and granola starts the day.

How close is the nearest beach?

A favorite among locals, Baldwin Beach is the closest and most accessible beach at approximately 4.2 miles from Lumeria Maui (a 10 minute drive).
