Yoga & Surf Retreat in Bali

Join Sarah Pascual and Dave Larot as they partner for a one-of-a-kind yoga retreat to beautiful Bali. An intimate group of yogis, surfers and ocean lovers will gather for seven days of beachfront meditation, yoga, swimming, surfing, eating and adventuring in the sun. We will be staying in beautiful, stylish villas overlooking the ocean below on one of the most tranquil parts of the island, guaranteeing sunny days, tropical breezes, lots of yoga and, for those interested, plenty of opportunities to surf. All villas feature a traditional thatched roof and coconut pillars with large folding-glass doors so you can take advantage of the spectacular natural beauty of the outdoors. With 180 degree views of all nearby surf breaks, you can check the waves and watch the sunset just steps from your bedroom.

The intention behind the retreat is to slow down, replenish yourself and deposit vitality into your being. Sarah and Dave will guide you through twice-daily meditation and yoga practices to build strength, flexibility, peace and clarity. Each morning opens with a grounding meditation and energizing flow practice to awaken your senses, and you’ll have the entire day to explore the nearby surf breaks, swimming beaches, hiking trails and other local adventures. You will come together each evening for a gentle restorative/yin practice to relax and unwind. Over time, this rhythm will unlock new ease in your mind, body and soul. Seven days of yoga, healthy food and strong community make for a cleansing experience that will fill your cup and deepen your practice. You will leave the retreat feeling rested and nourished, with new friends and stories to tell.

FAQ

What airport do I fly into?

You will book your international ticket into and out of Denpasar (airport code: DPS) to Arrive on April 23rd and Depart on April 30th.

If you wish to arrive a day early to settle in and get acclimated we can request additional nights at our group hotel. Please contact us directly for rates.

Do I need a Visa to travel to Bali?

No, if you are planning to stay in Indonesia for under 30 days, the Visa on arrival is free and also the departure tax is waived.

If you plan to stay longer then 30 days, you will need to obtain a Visa before leaving the US. For more information on this please visit the Embassy of Indonesia website.

IMPORTANT: If your passport expires within six months of your arrival date to Indonesia, please be sure to renew your passport before you go to avoid any issues at immigration. There are no exceptions.

What vaccinations do I need?

There are no required vaccinations for travel to Bali. However, there are some recommended (suggested) vaccinations given by the CDC. To see the complete list of what is recommended please visit the CDC Website and consult with your primary care physician to make a decision on what is best for you.

Are airport transfers included in the price of my trip?

Yes, private airport transfers are included in the price of your trip. Whenever you arrive, day or night you will be met by a private driver and transported to the group hotel. Note if you arrive early and decide to stay at an alternate location other than our group hotel, you will be responsible for coordinating and paying for your own transportation directly with the hotel where you will be staying.

What are the accommodations like?

The retreat location sits cliff-front on the southern Indian Ocean with expansive views and amazing sunsets. While commanding an ultimate view of Uluwatu surfing beach, the villas are also only minutes away from the famous Uluwatu temple, as well as some of Bali's best secret beaches.

The location is comprisesd of three 3 Bedroom villas and one 4 bedroom villa. There is one master bedroom and two/three guest bedrooms each with en suite bathrooms, a spacious living and dining area with an open-plan kitchen, a 6-meter swimming pool and an open Bale (thatched pavilion) with comfortable lounge chairs overlooking the pool.

Are gratuities included in my trip price?

Tipping is not customary in Bali, but greatly appreciated. Recommended is $10/day per person for hotel staff. This can be given to management at the end of your stay.  Tipping is also a nice gesture when eating out and to taxi drivers for their services.

What if I am traveling alone?

We get hundreds of travelers each year who go on retreat alone. If you are traveling without a friend or partner, but prefer to share your room, we will do our best to match you with another traveler of the same gender. If for some reason, we are not able to match you with a roommate, a single supplement will apply.

If you prefer to have your own private room, a single supplement will apply.
