What airport do I fly into?
You will book your international ticket into and out of Palma de Mallorca Airport (airport code: PMI).
Do I need a visa for travel to Spain?
American citizen visitors to Spain do not need a visa if they are traveling as a tourist with a valid U.S. passport. You will be issued a tourist card upon entry which is valid for up to 90 days.
Note: Your passport must be valid 6 months beyond your date of arrival.
What are the accomodations like?
Our home for the week is a beautifully renovated farmhouse surrounded by expansive countryside. 12 individually designed rooms boast a Mediterranean and minimalist atmosphere with open spaces, natural light, warm tones, and incredible views.
Our daily yoga practice will take place in a peaceful yoga shala. The property's garden, pool, massage area, and beach style bar are all designed for maximum comfort and relaxation as well.
What is the cuisine like?
During your stay you will enjoy an assortment of locally-sourced, organic, fresh food of the highest quality with vegan, gluten free, and paleo options all available. Served buffet-style, the hotel's kitchen will prepare seasonal and nourishing dishes tailored to our group.
What if I'm traveling alone?
We love solo-travleers and we have hundreds join us every year on retreat! If you prefer to share your room and are traveling alone, we will do our best to match you with another traveler of the same gender. If we are not able to find you a roommate, a 50% of the single supplement cost will be applied to your final invoice.
Are gratuities included?
Gratuities are not included in the price of your trip. Service charge is included in all restaurants-bars etc. however if you receive exceptional service by staff, housekeeping or other employees helping you throughout the week then an additional tip is always appreciated. We suggest a budget of around $5-$10/day per guest.
Do I need travel insurance?
International Yoga strongly recommends the purchase of travel insurance. A personal, political, environmental, health or weather-related incident may arise that can prevent or interrupt your travels. Note that if you elect not to purchase travel insurance you will be assuming 100% of any costs associated with the cancellation or interruption of your retreat. All payments to International Yoga are non-refundable/non-transferable and we must adhere to this policy without exception.
As International Yoga cannot advise on specific travel insurance plans, we recommend the reputable travel insurance aggregator InsureMyTrip. They will provide personalized support in selecting a travel insurance provider and policy that works best for your specific needs.
