Grounding, Deep, Thematic & Alignment-Based
my practice, my teachers, my students & nature
This experience is designed as an immersive cultural journey that blends yoga, relaxation, and meaningful exploration. While we will enjoy daily yoga and meditation practices—some days offering both morning and evening sessions—the retreat is equally focused on experiencing the beauty, spirituality, and traditions of Thailand. From the tropical coastline of Krabi to the sacred temples and artisan culture of Chiang Mai, each day invites connection, discovery, and restoration.
Anne’s classes are thoughtfully designed to support both grounding and exploration throughout the journey. Expect a balanced practice that may include mindful flow, breathwork, meditation, and restorative elements, with classes suitable for a range of experience levels. Practices will complement the rhythm of travel and help support presence, connection, and overall well-being during the retreat.
Yes, please bring your own mat in addition to blocks and a strap if you use props during your practice.
In Krabi, we will stay at a beautiful resort nestled between tropical gardens, limestone cliffs, and the crystal-clear waters of the Andaman Sea. Accessible only by boat, the property offers a peaceful and secluded setting with thoughtfully designed private accommodations and exceptional hospitality. In Chiang Mai, we’ll stay at a charming boutique hotel located within the historic Old City, centered around a majestic 200-year-old tamarind tree and inspired by the artistic heritage of Northern Thailand.
February is one of the most pleasant times to visit Thailand, with warm temperatures, sunny days, and lower humidity. In Krabi, expect tropical coastal weather with daytime temperatures typically ranging from the upper 70s to mid-80s °F, ideal for beach time, boating excursions, and outdoor yoga. Chiang Mai is slightly cooler and more temperate, especially in the mornings and evenings, with comfortable daytime temperatures and low chances of rain. Lightweight, breathable clothing is recommended, along with a light layer for early mornings or air-conditioned spaces.
You will fly into Krabi International Airport (KBV) for the start of the retreat. The retreat concludes in Chiang Mai, where you will depart from Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX).
Yes. Private airport transfers are included upon arrival in Krabi and departure in Chiang Mai on the designated retreat arrival and departure dates.
Visa requirements for Thailand vary depending on your nationality and length of stay. Many travelers, including U.S. passport holders, may enter Thailand visa-free for short tourist visits. We recommend checking the most up-to-date entry requirements based on your citizenship well in advance of travel.
We get hundreds of travelers each year who go on retreats alone. If you are traveling without a friend or partner, but prefer to share your room, we will do our best to match you with another traveler of the same gender. If for some reason, we are not able to match you with a roommate, a single supplement will apply.
If you prefer to have your own private room, a single supplement will apply.
Attendance varies from trip to trip, but 15 - 25 attendees is a general average.
Yes, all levels are welcome. You will find that wherever you are in your practice you will get just what you need out of the yoga classes on this retreat. International Yoga works only with experienced and extremely qualified teachers, which ensures that everyone's yoga needs will be met.
At International Yoga, we strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance to protect yourself and your investment. Unexpected events—such as personal emergencies, political or environmental factors, health issues, or weather-related disruptions—can arise and may prevent or interrupt your travel plans. Note that because we must strictly adhere to our cancellation policy, you will be responsible for 100% of any costs associated with the cancellation or interruption of your retreat should you choose not to purchase travel insurance.
While we do not provide recommendations for specific policies, we suggest exploring options through the reputable travel insurance aggregator, InsureMyTrip. They can help you find a provider and policy that best suits your needs. For maximum coverage, we advise purchasing travel insurance within 7–10 days of placing your initial deposit.
A $1000 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot on the trip. The final balance payment is due by October 15, 2026. If you cancel before the final balance deadline, we will refund any payments you have made, minus the non-refundable deposit. If you do not complete the payment by October 15, 2026, the card on file will be automatically charged your remaining balance on that date to secure your space on the retreat, unless we have advised otherwise. If you register for the trip after October 15, 2026, the full payment amount is due upon registration. As stated in our Terms & Conditions, all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable after October 15, 2026. International Yoga must strictly adhere to its cancellation policy. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
