Bliss Out in Bali

The mere mention of Bali evokes thoughts of bliss. Join Dani for a transformational retreat designed to awaken your soul, open your heart, and encourage emotional, physical, and spiritual growth. Enjoy healing slow-flow yoga and gentle somatic practices to rest deeply, plunge into the natural spring water pool, experience total relaxation with services at the full Ayurvedic spa, and nourish your body with meals at the resort’s gourmet restaurant.

As the holistic heart of Bali, Ubud is a place where traditional Balinese culture, Hindu architecture, and peaceful temples inspire a colorful scene of artists and wellness enthusiasts. Hidden in the hillside, embraced by rice fields and rainforest climbs, our home for this Ubud yoga retreat brings chic luxury to life. It’s the perfect setting to bliss out. Expect a union with natural surroundings from the luxurious comfort of your room. Each suite is individual, yet equally as charming as the next. With views of the tropical jungle, abundant rice paddies, and the stunning infinity pool, you will truly enjoy this slice of paradise.

FAQ

What airport do I fly into?

You will book your international ticket into and out of Denpasar (airport code: DPS). If you wish to arrive a day early to settle in and get acclimated we can request additional nights at our group resort. Please contact us directly for pre-night stay rates.

Do I need a Visa to visit Bali?

No, if you are planning to stay in Indonesia for under 30 days, the Visa on arrival is free and also the departure tax is waived.

If you plan to stay longer than 30 days, you will need to obtain a Visa before leaving the US. For more information on this please visit the Embassy of Indonesia website.

IMPORTANT: If your passport expires within six months of your arrival date to Indonesia, please be sure to renew your passport before you go to avoid any issues at immigration. There are no exceptions.

Are airport transfers included in the price of my trip?

Yes, private airport transfers are included in the price of your trip. Whenever you arrive, day or night you will be met by a private driver and transported to the group hotel. Note if you arrive early and decide to stay at an alternate location other than our group resort, you will be responsible for coordinating and paying for your own transportation directly with the hotel where you will be staying.

Do I need vaccinations?

There are no required vaccinations for travel to Bali. However, there are some recommended (suggested) vaccinations given by the CDC. To see the complete list of what is recommended please visit the CDC Website and consult with your primary care physician to make a decision on what is best for you.

What are the accommodations like?

Nestled on the hillside, between sky and earth, in the middle of verdant rice paddies, our charming eco-lodge is waiting for you! Traditional Javanese huts are remastered in a modern fashion to make your bedroom a uniquely beautiful and comfortable place. Resort facilities are designed for guest comfort and needs, from 24-hour front desk service, swimming pool, spa, restaurant, fully equipped yoga shala, and wifi internet access.

All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, mosquito nets, and windows that can be opened to soak in the Balinese breeze.

Are meals included? What is the food like?

A welcome and farewell dinner will be included, along with all breakfasts. Blue Karma offers meals that cater to all types of dietary requirements, so you’ll find sugar-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free options available. The top quality ingredients are sourced locally and produced organically.

For other meals you will have the chance to eat at Blue Karma's onsite Botanist Restaurant, or venture into Ubud to try some of the amazing local food. Ubud is known for it's many restaurants boasting healthy, high quality food!

Are gratuities included?

Gratuities are not included in the price of your trip. Service charge is included in all restaurants-bars etc, however if you receive exceptional service by staff, housekeeping or other employees helping you throughout the week then an additional tip is always appreciated. We suggest a budget of around $5-$10/day per guest.

What if I am traveling alone?

We get hundreds of travelers each year who go on retreat alone. If you are traveling without a friend or partner, but prefer to share your room, we will do our best to match you with another traveler of the same gender. If for some reason, we are not able to match you with a roommate, a single supplement will apply.

If you prefer to have your own private room, a single supplement will apply.

How many people are expected on this retreat?

Attendance varies from trip to trip, but 15-25 attendees is a general average.

Do I need travel insurance?

International Yoga strongly recommends the purchase of travel insurance. A personal, political, environmental, health, or weather-related incident may arise that can prevent or interrupt your travels. Note that if you elect to not purchase travel insurance you will be assuming 100% of any costs associated with the cancellation/ interruption of your retreat.

As International Yoga cannot advise on specific travel insurance plans, we recommend the reputable travel insurance aggregator InsureMyTrip. They will provide personalized support in selecting a travel insurance provider and policy that works best for your specific needs. Note that most travel insurance providers require that you purchase coverage within 7 to 10 days of your initial booking.

What is the cancellation policy for this trip?

A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to hold your spot on the trip. If you cancel prior to the final balance deadline, February 9, 2024, we will refund any payments you've made minus the non-refundable deposit. All payments are non-refundable after February 9, 2024. International Yoga must strictly adhere to its cancellation policy to offset costs incurred prior to the commencement of the retreat. Click here to view the Terms and Conditions which you agreed to upon registration. We strongly suggest purchasing 'Cancel For Any Reason' travel insurance to ensure you are covered should any unexpected event arise. A personal, political, environmental, health, or weather-related incident or pre-existing medical condition may prevent or interrupt your travels.  Should you elect to not purchase travel insurance, you will be assuming 100% of any costs incurred for trip cancellation or trip interruption.
