FAQ

What inspired you to teach yoga?

I am a Teacher by lineage and birthright. It is a calling, an inspiration to simply share what I know to be good with others. Growing up in my parents Magana and Walt Baptiste's work I saw this as a Lifestyle Practice. A way of being in the world. Growing up I observed in all of our Baptiste Studios and Baptiste Centers in San Francisco a draw of amazing people to my parents work.. There was a force of attraction in this work, bigger than all of us that drew interesting alive, evolving souls to the Baptiste Teachings and Centers. It was exciting. I saw people from all walks of life that became even more happy, healthy, inspired developing themselves through my parents teachings into more fully made human beings. At one point in life I made a conscious choice to make yoga my own, to teach authentically in my own right and voice. Bottom line I am simply sharing a lineage, legacy and heritage of what i know to be good with others…and it works, People are happier, more productive, vibrantly alive, positive, and healthier.
