Magical Mongolia

Rich history, remarkable landscapes, and beautiful people merge in an unspoiled wilderness…Luxury hotel, campsite and polo club collide on a little hill in the Orknon Valley 25 km from the ancient Mongol capital city, Karakoram where rolling green hills, pristine pastures, and nomadic culture engulf your senses. Here, under wide skies is the extravagant Genghis Khan Retreat - a certified partner in conscious travel originally created as a private family summer retreat, where accommodation is in gers (traditional Mongolian houses) and days are filled with a wide array of one of a kind adventure and wellness experiences; once daily yoga, horse riding, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, wildlife spotting, kayaking, massages, and optional day trips to the museums, monuments, monasteries, and ruined citadel.

Mongolia, the second largest landlocked country situated over 5,000 feet in elevation and sandwiched between Russia and China, has more wild horses than humans, 260 days a year of dry clear blue skies, and 30 percent of its population living nomadically; where families live in gers move their homes across the land throughout the year.

Famous for the notorious Ghengis Kahn and his 13th and 14th century Mongol Empire, its vast and rugged terrain, and the rich melting pot of Buddhist and Shamanism beliefs, Mongolia is a remarkable country that can remind us of what life is really about; beauty and connection in the simple life.

After the 2020 we’ve collectively experienced there’s never been a more powerful and aligned time to come together, take time to decompress and appreciate the simplicity of humanity. Let’s journey together as nature and adventure lovers to a lesser known unspoilt land and cross off a once in a lifetime experience in this remarkable part of the wild east, together. Join us for a true journey of a lifetime.
