Beth Prandini

Beth has found both youthful joy and radiant health through the practice of yoga. Diagnosed with Lupus and a Rheumatoid Arthritis at the age of 19, Beth used yoga to help regulate the effects of her diagnosis. More than fifteen years of remission has passed for Beth who is now a YogaWorks Certified Teacher Trainer with a M.A. in Education from Pepperdine University. Beth's classes draw upon both Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga, as well as her continual studies with Master Teachers including Annie Carpenter, Lisa Walford, Jeanne Heileman and Jasmine Lieb.

What inspired you to teach yoga?

Yoga brought me back to health and wellness after being diagnosed with Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis.

How would you describe your style?

An intelligent blend of Iyengar and Vinyasa

Why do you feel retreats are transformative?

On retreat we give ourselves the gift of time. An opportunity to dive deeper into the self-knowledge and self-care of the eight-limbed path.

What is your favorite pose to teach?

I am an Anahata Chakra junkie. Me heart belongs to backbends. Me + Backbends = Love

What is your favorite pose to practice?

Inversions shift my perspective. They are a must for an open mind throughout my day.

What are your favorite places to travel?

I love how tropical weather lifts my spirits and warms my body for practice. My favorite destinations are Mexico, Nicaragua, India and The Bahamas.
