Nestled into the valley, close to dozens of Incan ruins and colorful traditional markets, the retreat center is a lush sanctuary of gardens and peaceful corners for personal contemplation.
In addition to daily yoga classes with Joan, our-expertly crafted itinerary takes us on a tour of the ancient ruins — including Machu Picchu — and the local markets, but also includes plenty of time for daily yoga classes and delicious, traditional Peruvian meals. The retreat center has comfortable rooms, a beautiful practice space, lush winding gardens and excellent cuisine. Joan Hyman is a certified YogaWorks Teacher Trainer who leads trainings, workshops and retreats across the globe and teaches many popular vinyasa flow classes in Los Angeles. She is a dedicated Ashtangi who has traveled through India and has spent time studying with the beloved Sri. K. Pattihbi Jois and his grandson Sharath.
