Stacie views yoga as a spiritual, psychological, and energetic journey that inspires greater understanding of the true Self. She believes in the potency of breath as the most powerful natural resource for deep transformation and connection to spirit. "When we practice yoga with the intention of cultivating self awareness and refining our ability to focus our attention, we truly embark upon a meditation in motion. The rhythmic syncing of breath with movement and breath with stillness facilitates a deep connection towards one’s inner being – a journey home to oneself, a spacious place we can rest inside – our birthright and intrinsic nature." Stacie has been profoundly inspired by her decade of studies with world-renowned teacher Max Strom and continues to be greatly influenced by his heart opening approach to yoga. Daily she is inspired by her work as a psychotherapist, which continues to impress upon her the vulnerability and courage of the human spirit. Stacie has been teaching since 2003, RYT-500, and holds an MA and MFT in psychotherapy.
