Come join Irina Ovsiannikova at this exclusive retreat center located on the shores of the Lake Atitlan, described as “the most beautiful lake in the world,” by Alexander von Humboldt. Surrounded by three volcanoes, this uniquely picturesque and tranquil location has tastefully designed rooms each featuring lake and volcanic peak views. Along the lake are a dozen villages where life and customs have changed little over the centuries, each offering a rich and varied tapestry of food, color, language and culture.
You will begin each day with a challenging and invigorating 2-hour morning practice which will be followed each afternoon with a deep, meditative evening class to slowly melt into nightly meditations. Between practices, days will be yours to explore, hike, swim in the gorgeous lake or visit the local communities. We will gather together for delicious vegetarian meals and share our stories and build love and community. This week will be an immersive experience in living fully, practicing deeply, exploring widely and laughing whole heartedly.
