Immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring nature and incredible culture of Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, and reconnect to your own beauty and magnificence. We'll leave behind the routine of our daily lives in order to rediscover an aliveness and vitality that can get muffled by the noise of the material world. We’ll be staying at a uniquely picturesque and tranquil retreat center where each room is tastefully designed and boasts views across the lake—1,000 feet deep and nestled below three 10,000-foot volcanic peaks. Along the shores are a dozen villages where life and customs have changed little over the centuries, each offering a rich and varied tapestry of food, color, language and culture.
We will begin each morning with meditation, enjoy two extended yoga practices during the day and come together in the evenings for self-inquiry practices. In addition to our two planned group excursions, there will also be plenty of free time to explore Lake Atitlan, kayak, hike, swim, get healing bodywork or just rest in the magic of this unique part of the world. Return home with a new perspective on how we live our lives and perhaps inspire greater connection to our own inner spirit.
